[When the video turns on, Konatsu looks irritated, annoyed, frustrated. He's concluded that this isn't a dream and that he's not just hallucinating. He's discovered that his weapon has been replaced by a far inferior one. And he's tried and long since given up on trying to remember a worse day of his life.]

[So instead he turns to his communicator. Perhaps he'll be able to find answers this way.]

Colonel Adams mentioned a headquarters that supposedly brought us to this town. Is there a means of contacting them?

[That was enough to draw Konatsu up short. Being sassed by Shuri was one thing. Being out and out... well, defied like this was something different.]

[He can't decide if he's more impressed or annoyed, and he settles for crossing his arms instead.] I am not mistaken. The masquerade definitely already happened.

[antwort]

[ S I G H. Shuri rolls his eyes. ]

Whatever! I don't want to talk about this anymore.

[begleiter]

Fine. [Konatsu needs time to figure Shuri out anyway.] What are you intending to do now that we're here?

[antwort]

I don't know...

[begleiter]

[Of course he doesn't. Konatsu doesn't sigh, but he can't stop himself from letting out a quiet huff. His first instinct is to immediately start bossing Shuri around again, since he clearly needs the assistance, but he decides against it. Shuri's obviously in a mood, and if he's going to be a brat about following Konatsu's lead then Konatsu is going to make him deal with the consequences.]

[It's hard to not be a little bossy, though.] I suggest you decide quickly. I doubt the natives want to abide by those who won't pull their own weight.
